A little late today, again. Yesterday I worked my part time job and was exhausted when I got home. Normally, I write this on Sunday and schedule it to be posted early Monday morning; however, I was too tired to move, so it is late today.
I do not have much to blog today. I have some projects in the works but I have to take some pictures of the work in progress before I can post about them. I did learn a new wirewrapping technique on Saturday and as soon as I begin the project I will use it for, I will post pictures.
The commission for the barefoot sandals is still in the works, so no news on it either.
I really want to be more proficient at my blog and that is my plan, I just have to manage my time better. I do have some health issues that sometimes prevent me from doing much of anything, but I keep trying.
Have a great day everyone!!
I make handcrafted fashion jewelry using wire, beads, seed beads, polymer clay and various other items.

I am so excited!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day, I know that I did. I got to spend it with 3 of my 10 grandkids and 2 of my 5 children. I heard from the rest except for one.
On Saturday I started my new very part time job and that was an experience. I am working at a very small convenience store about 25 miles from my home. It is located in a place where two roads converge on a very beautiful drive of the North Fork of the Coeur d'Alene River, the most beautiful drive to work in North Idaho! The owner is a very nice lady.
Last night I was messaging with a friend of mine on Facebook and she had received her barefoot sandal that I featured in a previous blog, and she has a LOT of friends. One of her friends asked her if I could sell her 50 pairs of the sandals to her and I would get credit for them. Apparently, she does a lot of shows and craft fairs. I will have to think hard about that. It is exciting though. It makes me feel validated! I have been working hard at trying to make a living making my jewelry, so this is really exciting for me.

I am late today!
Wow what a weekend we had!! I won't go into details as it is a long story. I was busy, to say the least. I made a beautiful large chunky ring for a friend and she loved it!! Here it is.
It will not be listed in my shop as it is a custom order; however, I did put it in my gallery at http://www.artfire.com/ext/shop/gallery/RoxysRox
I also finished another set of barefoot sandals for that same customer. The barefoot sandals are listed here:

I used to have a childcare in my home and I was able to go and listen to one of my former kids sing at a recital. She is now 16 years old and rocked the songs she sang. With a bit more practice to lose the nerves, she could sooo do "The Voice" or "America's Got Talent"
